Every year, CACCT volunteers devote hundreds of hours to helping our center and the children we provide services to. Without them, we wouldn't be able to perform the essential work we do. Volunteer jobs require varying levels of training depending on how much direct interaction you want to have with our children. Our goal is to make this a meaningful and useful experience for everyone participating.

Volunteers are needed on a regular basis for the following tasks:

  • Front Desk Reception {Shifts available M-Th 8AM-5PM, F 8AM-3PM}

    • Answer phones, complete office work, compile intake folders, greet clients.

  • Special Events

    • Assist with event set up and break down, check-in/out, data entry.

  • Carebag Room

    • Inventory new donations, straighten and stock shelves, organize room and storage spaces.

All volunteers will be required to fill out a Volunteer Application.

An internship at the Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas may provide a wealth of information regarding child abuse, child welfare, and charitable organizations.

Interns get the chance to watch and help employees in the delivery of agency services in order to gain experience in their primary field. These services include but are not limited to:

  • Family Advocacy
  • Community Education
  • Nonprofit Management

Interns are currently only available for associates and bachelors level students.
