Putting the Wellbeing of Each Child First

Putting the Wellbeing of Each Child First

Investigating a child abuse allegation can be scary and difficult, especially from the perspective of the child. Their needs should come first during the entire process, which is what the Children's Advocacy Center Of Central Texas is dedicated to. We use a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach to the investigation in order to make the process as streamlined as possible. This allows us to avoid duplicate interviews of the child that could hinder the investigation and put the child under unnecessary extra stress. It also keeps the child's wellbeing at the forefront of each investigation.
