The mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas is to provide comprehensive services which protect, promote healing and enhance the quality of life for abused and neglected children in Central Texas through Children’s Advocacy Center and CASA programs. The agency promotes advocacy for children through two programs: The Children’s Advocacy Center program provides collaborative investigative efforts involving law enforcement, Family Protective Services, prosecution, medical and mental health services to recognize the pain and reduce the trauma for victims of child abuse. The CASA program provides trained volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the court system. Each morning we open our doors to children in need of hope and healing; children who have been abused and destroyed, often by those who were suppose to love them the most. Daily, these children remind us why our work is so vital. Our vision of success is improving the lives of abused children in Central Texas by providing necessary services to child victims, their families and the agencies responsible for much needed intervention. The agency is committed to recognizing the pain, reducing the trauma and ensuring every child has a safe, permanent home.
