Providing and Promoting Hope, Healing, and Justice for Abused Children in Central Texas.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas (CACCT) provides a safe, child-focused place where children and families affected by abuse can begin healing.
CACCT is accredited by the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas and the National Children’s Alliance, and collaborates closely with local law enforcement, CPS, District and County Attorneys, and Baylor Scott and White McLane Children's Hospital. For over 25 years, we’ve helped more than 10,000 children in Bell, Coryell, and Milam counties—including military families at Fort Hood—find safety and support.
Forensic Interviews
Forensic interviews are developmentally appropriate and trauma informed interviews with children. We provide a neutral and child-friendly environment for children to speak.
Family Advocacy
Every family is paired with an advocate who helps explain the overall process of a child abuse investigation, coordinates resources, and supports non offending caregivers as they navigate next steps.
Therapy Services
Licensed mental health therapists provide trauma-focused therapy tailored to children’s needs, helping them and their families find hope and healing—at no cost.
Prevention Education
Our experts provide tailored educational presentations to children, parents, and adults in the community to address preventing child sexual abuse - both in person and online. All training sessions are free and can be customized to the specific audience.
We Believe
Every child's voice matters and should be heard with care so their childhood is preserved.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas (CACCT) stands as the region’s trusted nonprofit for serving children and their families who have experienced abuse. We provide a neutral, welcoming space where hope begins and healing is possible.
