Volunteers
We currently have the following volunteer opportunities available:
- CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers for Bell/Coryell Counties.
- Volunteers must
be at least 21 years of age, they are required to complete a volunteer
application, a pre-training interview, an extensive background check, a
CPS background check and must go through and intensive 16 hour training
on they dynamics of child abuse and neglect and the family court
systems. There is take home reading and volunteers must
participate in 3 hours of court room observation. Volunteers are
then sworn in by a District Judge and then assigned a case.

- Office/Administrative volunteer.
- These volunteers
duties include office tasks, assisting with letters and mail-outs,
computer tasks, and other duties as assigned.
- Board volunteers for the Board of Directors or Advisory Board.

- Fundraising volunteers.
- These volunteers
assist with fundraising activities and sit on the Board Fundraising
committee. For more information, please contact the center @
939-2946 @ ext 4 to obtain the name of the Fundraising
Chairperson.
