Local, Statewide and National Affiliations
Local
Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas is a member agency of
the Central Texas and greater Ft. Hood United Ways and receives funding
to support our programs.
Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas is partially funded
by the Bell County Commissioners and receives in-kind funds from the
Coryell County Commissioners.
Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas is partially funded
by the City of Temple to support children receiving services from that
city.
Statewide
Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas is a Full Member of
Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas, Inc. the state association
for children’s advocacy centers. With this Full Membership
status we are in full compliance with the Texas Standards for CACs and
the Texas Family Code Chapter 264, Subsection E.
CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties is a Full Member of Texas CASA.
With these memberships, we are in full compliance with Texas Standards
for CASA’s and the Yexas Family Code Chapter 107, Subchapter A.
National
Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas is a Full Member of
the National Children’s Alliance, the national association for
Children’s Advocacy Centers.
CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties is a Full Member of National CASA,
the national association for Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas receives funding from
the Federal Victim of Crime Act which helps support both the CAC and
CASA program.
